The Scout: Jordan Smith

Age: 22

Position: Goalkeeper

Club: Nottingham Forest

Country: England

Watched: : Nottingham Forest 1-0 Millwall (Friday 4th August 2017)

Performance: 8 out of 10

Potential: 6 out of 10

Not the tallest goalkeeper in the world at 6ft0in but one making a name for himself in the championship after a string of solid performances for Nottingham Forest.

Smith is a good shot stopper and a confident lad and whilst he might not be the perfect player in his position just yet, his attributes are enough to suggest he can make a very good career in the game with no question that he can’t go on to play at a higher level than the second tier of English football.

Needs to be quicker off his line and control his box more aggressively but he’s a goalkeeper who backs himself and has already made some wonderful saves in his short career thus far.

With only 16 first team games under his belt and prone to the odd error, he still has a lot to learn at the level of football he’s at but this season could be the making of the former Ilkeston & Nuneaton Town loanee and should he continue to impress, a big money move could be on the cards for the South Normanton born stopper.
